321 Stainless Steel Plate
Our 321 Stainless Steel Plate is a titanium-stabilized stainless steel known for its excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion and high-temperature strength. The material works best for aerospace industries alongside applications in exhaust systems and chemical processing equipment, which need high resistance against oxidation. This Stainless Steel Plate delivers excellent weldability along with durability and thermal stability, which enables its usage in extreme settings. High temperatures do not impact the plate’s operation time because it possesses outstanding temperature resistance properties.

321 Stainless Steel Plate Material Composition and Process
321 Stainless Steel Plate gives excellent corrosion resistance from chromium at 17-19% while nickel at 9-12% provides toughness, and 0.08% maximum carbon increases structural strength. A composition of 2% max manganese and 1% max silicon with 0.045% max phosphorus, 0.03% max sulfur, and 0.10% max nitrogen provides exceptional durability to this material. The structure stabilizing effect of 0.20% titanium assists in preventing carbide precipitation, thereby providing high-temperature resistance. This makes this steel suitable for aerospace, along with heat exchangers and exhaust systems.
