This 304L Stainless Steel Plate comprises 18-20% chromium for anti-corrosion properties together with 8-12% nickel for durability and 0.03% max carbon to optimize weldability by avoiding carbide precipitation. This steel composition includes 2% max manganese to improve hardness and enhance mechanical properties and long-term performance through 1% max silicon for oxidation resistance and low content of 0.045% max phosphorus, 0.03% max sulphur, and 0.10% max nitrogen.

The manufacturing process starts with electric arc furnaces melting through refinement before performing hot rolling to achieve structural strength. Additionally, along with annealing for corrosion insurance and finishing with cold rolling for an exact and smooth surface finish. This plate consists of 7.90 g/cm³ density with 485 MPa tensile strength, 170 MPa yield strength, and 1400°C as its melting point to ensure maximum durability at high temperatures.
